Fragrance line: Oriental Flora
In 2016, Marly Parfums added Layton to the Essence Royal collection, a sensual fragrance blend that captures the easy, noble character of the 18th-century Versailles court.
And also the harmonious festive atmosphere of it.
The new men's fragrance, Leighton, is named after the Leighton horse, which is the ancestor of one of the most important and largest racehorse breeds.
Layton perfume was created by expert Hamid Kashani Mirati.
It blends flowers, woods and spices in a modern fougere setting, offering it to those seeking luxury.
The fragrance opens with cheerful notes of mandarin and apple, along with bergamot and a clear addition of lavender, which combines with the heart flowers, especially geranium, to give a touch of fougere with the woody base.
The heart also contains soft, sensual flowers, namely jasmine and violet.
The base is woody and spicy, giving the fragrance stability and depth. It contains guaiac wood, sandalwood, and patchouli, in addition to spicy black pepper and soft vanilla.
